Ronda is, without a doubt, one of the most striking corners of Andalucía — and one of the best places in the world for a hot air balloon flight. Set deep in the Serranía de Ronda, flanked by the Sierra de las Nieves National Park and the Sierra de Grazalema, the town offers a view from above unlike almost anywhere else.
The undisputed star of the flight is El Tajo, the nearly 100-metre-deep gorge crowned by the legendary Puente Nuevo. Drifting silently over that crack in the rock, with the old town on one side and the newer town on the other, is one of those images that stays with you.

Balloon flights happen at sunrise, generally around 8:00am, when the atmosphere is most stable and the wind is gentlest. The full activity — watching the balloon inflate, the flight itself, landing, and a traditional toast to celebrate — takes 3 to 4 hours. We confirm the exact date and time in advance, based on the weather forecast.
Can I book a private flight?
Yes. If you'd rather have the balloon entirely to yourselves — ideal for a marriage proposal over the Tajo gorge, an anniversary or any special occasion — a private flight (+€900) is available. The balloon flies just for you, with the pilot's full attention and complete privacy.
